We don't have a lack of class. We have loyalty. We don't let other people come into our city and trash talk our team and get out without a black eye.
I'd love to see a pitt fan in a student bar after a game... Thank god the state police will escort them out, otherwise God only knows what would happen.
Don't expect to come into our stadium dressed in your teams gear and walk around without being ridiculed. Further more, don't EVER EVER walk into a bar in Morgantown on game day wearing the opponents gear.. expect to be escorted out by the police for YOUR OWN SAFETY.
This thread reminds me of the time I was sitting in the student section in college and a couple of Miami fans got "lost" and thought it would be funny to sit in the student section. 10 State Troopers later they finally made it out of the stands with only minor injuries. I bet I saw $100 worth of soda and snacks thrown at those sorry fans. |
