So lets stick it here and let everyone know who is looking for new graduates? We all need our careers after college right? So lets give it a boost.

Great topic. I just completed high school and needing a job. I am a computer student and can work as web designer and java programmer.

It absolutely depends on your discipline, and hooking up contacts is part of what you are meant to do in college. You need to dtart applying for jobs at least 6 months before graduating, get profs to be references and ask *them* this sort of stuff. Just getting the degree and them wondering about findi9ng work is a recopie for unemployment and the longer you stay unemployed the harder it is to get a job.

Hey guys, let me tell you my success story. Hehe, I got a job of a java programmer. Salary is quite little. Dont want to tell you.

| Congratulations on getting the job! Sometimes it's fine to start low man on the totem pole.

I work for bandwidth. Or so the saying goes..... I graduated Comp Sci and DIDN'T have a contract hooked up. I spent a year working bars and having a whale of a time-loved it. Got serious finally and got a coding job with a small Maryland company. Ended up still in Maryland but working as a network engineer and finally making decent money. Came to PA last year to raise my 1 yr old daughter.

I too had a coding job but just left it to start my freelancing carrer, right i work from home and just have fun making money

Fun and money never seemed to belong in the same sentence in my vocabulary. I wish that I could have found a job that I enjoyed whilst I was still in the workforce proper.
