Just trying to get the word out to prepare for next years USF game at home. I went to the game against USF, and the fans were awful, and initially we thought they were just having a good time, and we gave it back to them a little, but we soon realized that these people weren't joking, they were very hostile and threatening. They would get up in our faces and scream "Do you f... sheep?" and "Do you f... your dad?" "Go home Mountainqueers!!!" Well, I was shocked at the threatening behavior, and their entire approach to sportsmanship. I'm not a prude. I'm a graduate of WVU. I partied in THE PIT. I can dish it out and I can take it. We really are used to it, as West Virginians, but the way they did it. I'd rather have someone throw oranges, golf balls or a trash can at me. They had the audacity to make fun of us for being Hillbillies, when they themselves were a low class of rednecks, whose claim to fame is having a professor arrested for supporting al queda. Show some class people. Hurl your insults, and have a good time, but never get up in someone's face and cuss at them in a threatening manner. Everyone is a reflection of their school. But just in case, be prepared for a battle next year in Morgantown.

You bet they are, and just to think, I cheered for them; glad they made the Big East a challenge, outa nowhere. When I cheered for them, I was still cursed, to my face. Just a lower class of rednecks. I have no problem in telling WVU fans to shut up and show class. I did it at the game to some WVU fans sitting in front of us, but there is only so much I can do. Did you see the picture from the Tampa Tribune? Needless to say, they recieved a letter, ESPN, Dominion Post, MSN networks and the alumni association. So far, the only one I've gotten any response from is the Dominion Post.

Thats not right. o one should have to deal witn that it is after all just a game. On theother hand while that is definitley not condoned I have seen some equally outrageous behavior from WVU fans. Take care. Lonewolf61
