Tommy Tuberville(Auburn) Good coach but always seems to win games he shouldn't and lose games he should have won
Tommy Bowden(unemplyed and for good reason) He couldn't win with Pat Dye's players at AU and ran away
Dennis Franchione(former A&M) You already know the story
Major Applewhite(Bama OC) To young and to conservative
Mike Shula(former Bama) great guy but mediocre coach at best

well my dad went to Gardendale High School in Jefferson County, Al so I am familiar with Alabama football, and I always thought that Bowden did a decent job at Auburn. If I remember correctly he was fired mid season he did not run off. I agree with you on Coach O and Applewhite. Fran is a money follower just like RR.
