i still cant believe he cried at the end of the game and nobody caught the tears in a jar.. that was our one shot at the cure for cancer people!!!

Yeah, schmitty is awesome. I was so taknked and touched by his outpouring of emotions after the game I shaved my head into a mohawk. Here's a hats off to one hell of a good human bein.

It makes me sad to think I will no longer see Owen playing for the blue and gold. Devine is my favorite player for his ability but OWEN has always been my favorite for his heart and he showed that so well the other night. I just want to give him a big hug everytime I see that interview and let him know how much he has meant to us... I know sounds corny.... but hey. He is West Virginia and I love this state!

Not only that but what CANT he do!?!? I mean I wonder what goes through the other teams mind when they see him do something spectacular? How many walk ons become a legend??? We need to erect a statue in his honor.

Imagine though what the players must feel for him....we're just fans, but to them, they are on the inside and can really see and interact with him...I bet though that he's just a huge teddybear.

Thumbs up Schmidt (the man)
Schmidt is the apitimy of all atheletes. Here's a guy with all the right stuff. Skill, humility a class act. It's too bad that all athletes don't have the heart like Schmidt. We will definately see him on Sun. WV is going to miss a fine human being.
