Default WVU wins Fiesta Bowl

You know, I always knew that the guys had it in them. I was a big proponent of Owen Schmitt, and Coach Rod rarely ran him on plays that could have been key for the offense, but Bill Stewart did. Owen proved that he could run the ball AND be fast even though he is a monster fullback. Reynaud proved once again that the style of play that he brings to the table in games was really good, and Noel Devine gave us something to look forward to, which is something that people on this board have posted.

There were some bad calls by the officials, but my beer is still cold, and the winter weather is setting in. Lets hope that the boys had fun in Arizona and that they have a safe trip home.

Burn those coaches Mountaineers, one and all, big and small, because this was your game for the year.

WE DID IT!!!!!!!

well, I am really hung over but I still feel good because we won. we don't need fraudriguez. He probably would've lost the game anyway.

I'm also hung over. But I live in Oklahoma City and I'm wearing the bluest and goldest WVU shirt I could find.

I just heard on the radio out here that stewart is our new coach.

that was hands down the most perfectly played west virginia football game i have ever seen, they did just about everything right, minus kick coverage and stupid penalties, as far as offense blocking and defensive schemes though the game was flawless. well done mountaineers. lets get back to glendale next year for the big one.

definitely a well played game. stewart definitely deserves it. i aalso want to acknowledge the fact that not all of the departing coaches are like the a$$. I feel it was quite noble for the defensive head coach to ask to be able to come back for the fiesta bowl, even though today he is a wolverine
