Question Did Rod violate NCAA rules?

One question that has been on my mind is whether or not RR followed the rules and properly documented his contacts with potential recruits when he made those calls prior to his resignation. WVU in it's law suit has asked for documentation on all phone calls, text msgs. and e-mails that he made in December. I just wonder if this is going to get ugly and if WVU is protecting its standing with the NCAA by requiring this information.

If RR did violate NCAA rules, how would they penalize him now that he is at Michigan? Does the NCAA punish individual coaches or just entire schools?

If he called then before he resigned and after he accepted the position at Mitcheeeeeegan then I think there may be grounds for tampering.

If nothing else he certainly would be found guilty of being a snake in the grass.
