Thumbs down Say it aint so!!

From foxsports.com:

Quote:
West Virginia coach John Beilein is finally leaving Morgantown — for Michigan.

Beilein, 54, who is coming off an NIT title earlier this week, has accepted the Michigan job, according to sources close to the situation, and will be introduced at a Wednesday press conference.

Beilein is 104-60 in his five seasons in Morgantown and has made an Elite Eight and Sweet 16 appearance. He was close to taking the NC State job a year ago — if not for a hefty buyout in his contract.

Beilein replaces Tommy Amaker, who failed to take Michigan to the NCAA tournament in his tenure in Ann Arbor.

Beilein made about $750,000 per season with West Virginia and will, according to sources, make in excess of $1 million at Michigan.
Ugh!!!! How about some frickin loyalty? Did WVU drop the ball here or what? I just hope we meet Michigan in the tourney sometime next year and punish them.

Hope Beilein is happy with his decision but I know he won't be as productive in Meechigan as he was here. His quick decision on the issue only goes to show he had no long term plans at WVU anyway! I hope the fans forget him as quick as he left us! We'll find a new coach, continue to improve and one day will play Meeechigan in the tourney and provide them a good old fashion behind the shed thumpin!

Does that also mean bullshit walks? Oh well, we'll have a strong team next year and hopefully we'lll find the man to lead us. Beilein wasnt our first choice before and we lucked out to have him. He brought us alot of fame and respect our team hadn't had before, so we can thank him for that. This sucks for sure, but I read that beliein hasn't stayed at any one school for more than 5 years, so according to that it was his time. Just hope we can build on our successes.

Cool Coach Rod and Coach Beilein

Coach Rod: Hey Coach!
Coach Beilein: Hey, Rich, Hows it going?
Coach Rod: Not bad, Except that I have this itch I can't get rid of.
Coach Beilein: Sounds like a rash. You better get that checked out.
Coach Rod: It's not a rash! It's like that kind of stuff that happens when you starch your shirts too much.
Coach Belein: Oh. Well, then, get some cream or something. You ready for next season?
Coach Rod: Almost. I have three Michigan Hats and a sports jacket to wear. Wanna know something funny?
Coach Beilein: What's that?
Coach Rod: I didn't have to change colors!
Coach Beilein: Neat!
Coach Rod: Yeah I kind of like green and gold.
Coach Beilein: Ummm...Rod we're coaching Michigan U, you know, the blue and gold?
Coach Rod: Don't tell me what colors to wear. I already know what looks good on me.
Coach Beilein: But we're not coaching at Oregon, or Michigan State!
Coach Rod: So?
Coach Beilein: That means we have to wear blue and gold.
Coach Rod: Well, I guess I can get out my old WVU stuff.
Coach Beilein: No! Don't do that! WVU hates you now! Don't you remember? You're taking them to court!
Coach Rod: Oh yeah, I am aren't I....I'm so sly. Hey Coach Beilein- Can I ask you a question?
Coach Beilein: Sure, Rich.
Coach Rod: Do you think I should wear a green suit to court?
