 2008 Season Wrap-up So, the Mountaineers had a great run at the NCAA Championships, and finally ended up at the Sweet Sixteen. What are your thoughts about their season, and the time it took as well as the sweat and blood and tears that the players all gave? Some of my favorite moments include the Jordan-esque run of Alexander, and the two blocks in the semi-finals. I also liked Mazulla and his drives, and the others coming together to make it all the way to the SWEET sixteen! The dynamic trio of Nichols, Butler and Ruoff was nearly unstoppable. There was so much energy from that team that the whole state seemed to rally around them. I guess I can say this now, but we really had a fantastic season. What do you guys think about the 2008 Mountaineers?  |
