Hi I was a nursing student before I stopped studying for about 3 years now. I just need some more credits to finish my course, I have two kids and was wondering if Distance Education will be a good alternative. I am not so sure about this although I always see ads on the internet about Online study. In your opinion do you think it's worth it? or is it better for me to wait and go back to University? I can't study outside from home because I have a little one. Just need some advice ![]()

Same here. Nursing should be learned practically which is impossible through distance learning. I dont think there is such service anywhere.

I dont think you can learn that in distance learning , since you need to do practicals and thats possible on distance

Sometimes distance learning courses get around the practical aspect by allowing the student to find a college nearby that has a lab, or other facility that they can work in. Othertimes, for nurses, it is just a case of finding a teaching hospital for your work experience and having them credit the uni. I do believe it is possible, and I think that if you are able to do it to top off those credits, it will be worth it.
