WVU Upsets #13 Villanova

Da’Sean Butler scored a career-high 43 points to lead host West Virginia to a 93-72 victory against No. 13 Villanova on Friday night.

The Mountaineers (17-8, 6-6 Big East) built a 20-point lead in the first half en route to their season-high scoring output. Butler is the first West Virginia player to score 40 points since Lowes Moore in 1978.

Corey Fisher had 17 points for Villanova (20-5, 8-4), whose six-game winning streak ended.
