You made it your own, and it was beautiful. I love it.

this is the kind of thing Tori Amos does really well... take a rockin' song and mellow it out into something awesomely different and differently awesome. brava! this is what covers should always do. way to 'own it'!

I have listened to this many times and it always gets stuck in my head - your arrangement is so beautiful and unique, the way a cover should be!

How can people diss this? Its brilliant. Better then the original imho.

god forbid someone take a song and interpret it in their own way.... Coheed already did the version you like. What would be the fucking point of making a duplicate? This girl is way beyond your level of thought . None of you speak again . Period. Absolutely brilliant. The makings of a true star. Can't wait to hear some originals. Look at my profile and see how I butchered Sublime's song in the same way,

Hulkingly dull Manatee. CC already wrote and performed the rock-e, uptempo version. Give kudos when effort goes into reworking a song. There is little point in a cover that riffs the original. Great songs can be arranged and sung by all genres. Songs from The Beatles to Hip Hoppers have been covered as gospel, contemporary, pop, punk, metal and orchestral pieces. Bravo when artists try new things. This cover is a testament to the talents of both CC and this young lady. Where is your contribution?
