A documentary on the "Balik-Islams" or (Reverts To Islam) featured on ABS-CBN Network. Sister Mercedita De Vera, is a former Carmelite Nun who was assigned to Jolo,Sulu Philippines to spread Christianity but Alhamdulillaah is now a Muslim. I added the English subtitles to it for the non-Filipino speakers but I got this video from user "islamagain" so may Allaah subhanahu wa ta'ala reward her for posting. Inshaa'Allaah you all benefit from it.

I didn't know teachers that aren't nuns in the congregation had to wear a "nun uniform".

I see that is interesting. Yes ofcourse we prefer the truth. Thank you for that information however, we do not have control over the documentary. The important thing is that she embraced Islam and saw the truth.

Thank you for the information. Sorry it took awhile for the comments to be approved as you know we're not bots to be 24 hours waiting for a new comment to come ;) so please be patient for Allaah loves those who are patient :)

Final third attempt to post. I give up. Apparently, the truth isn't important.

OK, here is my second attempt to post: It is nice for her that she is happy. God love her! But just to be picky (and truthful. I am sure that as a good muslim she would want to tell the truth), she was never a carmelite nun and never lived in a monastery. She was a teaching sister (not a nun) attached to a carmelite congregation (one that finds its spirit in the carmelite order). She probably doesn't even know that people are saying she was a monastic nun!

I am happy for her that she has found peace. However, just to be a little picky (and truthful, which I am sure each muslim wants), she was never a carmelite nun nor did she live in a monastery. She was a teaching sister in a carmelite congregation. There is actually a difference.

Siguro, kung naging Muslim ang bansa natin, walang gulo sa Mindanao (Perhaps, if our country became Muslim, there's no conflict in Mindanao)... Siguro, pinahintulutan lang ng diyos na maging idolaters muna tayo (Maybe, God allowed us first to be idolaters)...
