Well technically there is no point of playing video games.. Hobbies will always seem pointless to someone not interested. This guy obviously likes the hobby of hacking electronics even though some people like yourself, see it as pointless.

If everyone thought like XxCoTeX humans would still be living in caves. The point of doing this is innovation and pushing boundaries. The mouse is on the cusp of being replaced, it is forward thinkers like jcl5m who recognize this and are presenting alternatives.
As he said in the video this technology creates a similar effect to the input on the computer in minority report. In the movie Tom Cruise's character had to wear gloves to control the computer. jcl5m could apply IR emitting gloves. |
