You somehow didn't catch the concept of how this unit works- The SOLMAN uses a solar panel to charge 3 large deep cycle batteries, which then run an inverter for creating your 110V power supply. It's simple and works well- we've been using ours since last summer without a hitch.

That guy is an unscrupulous salesman, and not an inventor. First, he didn't create anything new. Second, there's no way that thing will produce anything close to what a 1500 Watt gas generator can produce. Based on my guess at its surface area, it would produce no more than 200 Watts in full sunlight. You'd need eight of those to run a hair dryer continuously.
