:( I really wish 2.3 had 8 tracks. The new version is only going to have 4 like 1.3 which I think is a MAJOR downgrade. Still, 2.3 will be a lot easier to work with and will have quite a few cool features ;).

1.3 definitely milks the old school GB sounds and def sounds grittier, i jump back and forth from both versions CONSTANTLY...
2.2 has an additional 4 tracks, ADSR, LFOs, an FM waveform, filter control (sequenced or realtime) theres also a multichannel view where you can chain 4 patterns per channel. Very powerful cart.Its very different than 1.3, theres definitely more synthesizer type control for the waveforms. But its worth it for the extra 4 tracks.

i got the 1.3 version. i really like it.
but it sounds like 2.2 has so much of a wider sound range. what are the advantages of getting the newer cartrage?
