i think they got popular after she left because they got alot of attention and no one rly heard them before she left so they liked anette because thats who they started listening to. that hapened to me, i started listening to them when "Once" came out and i didnt know they slpit up until the end of the freaking 2007

Yeah. I'm sure she's not a terrible person...the band just got fed up with her I guess. I can't put links in comments but type in "Nightwish open letter" on google and you'll find it. It's the letter they wrote to Tarja when they fired her.

I saw them play in Toronto Sep 2 with Sonata Arctica. It was an excellent show - they put their hearts and souls into the performance. Anette did very well with her songs from DPP. Our problem (I think) is that when we hear the opening riff to "The Siren", we are expecting Tarja. Hopefully, the next album with give Anette more to work with. BTW, on stage, Emppu and Marco are the very epitome of cool. Everybody should see them live. They didn't play "Ever Dream" at this show though.
