It [the car] would give you at least minimal protection in the face of a tiger attack. You could also use one of the vehicles especially designed for off-road uses, such as a Jeep. And notice your father's friend said the tiger DENTED the Jeep, not "got through the window." If your father's friend was on top of an elephant or something when the tiger attacked instead of a Jeep, he would have gotten way more than just a scare and a story to tell.

ur stupid, this happened in the marshy jungle of kaziranga (brahmputra's basin), any sort of vehicle other than wide-flat-footed elephant is useless there. Moreover, what makes u think tiger wud be scared of a car, my father's friend (who used to be DFO at ranthambore park told of a tiger putting a big dent in his jeep). With strength of more than 15 men, its easy for it to break any glass window
