Don't be so cynical. My mum dated Mike Mangini, and I used to study under Roger Hempsall. He's toured with big names including Shirley Bassey. I've met Thomas Lang, Gavin Harrison, Benny Greb, Stanton Moore, Vinnie Colaiuta, and many many more really big names. They might be famous, but they're still just people, and they all had periods in their life before becoming famous where atrophels story would be absolutely plausable.
