The Unplugged session was incredible. Most of Kurt's writing was done on acoustic guitar anyway, so it fits contrary to popular belief at the time this was done. And what songwriting it was too!!! Amazing.

Nirvana did not care about how well their records sold, first of all. They just wanted to be as good as Sonic Youth. All this fame was just because they actually had good music, whether they knew it or not. Grunge is dead because Nirvana is dead.

i agree, plus they were the band that brought back rock and roll, but in alternate, or alternative, form. they also made an anthem for the 1990's, the song Smells Like Teen Spirit.

if nirvana wasnt famous, then how were they the first band that beat michael jackson's dangerous album on the billboard charts?
