ok,both bands are very good,Dream theater is in another catagory of thier own,there are some metallica influenece in DT songs,(old metalillica) beacause the old metallica was the shit ! and for the people that were thinknig mike was bashing metallica,he was not,he was asked a question and he answered it. If anything he stuck up for St.anger,which was a bad album in my opinion,but load and re load were just as bad! And death magnetic kicks ass,best thing they have released in 16 years ! DT rocks!

I could definately hear some metallica in dream theaters' music and alot of Iron Maiden too! If you listen to "Endless sacrifice" or "In the pressense of enemies part 2" you could actually hear it! There are some others!
