Crestview, FLorida Crestview man injured by roadside bomb

A twenty-three-year-old Crestview man was seriously injured over the weekend while serving in Iraq. Joey Haun, a Hum Vee gunner with the 27 U.S Infratry Regiment "Wolfhounds" was blown from his vehicle when it passed over a roadside bomb north of Bagdad near Tikret. He suffered multiple fractures and a concussion. He is currently in Germany awaiting transport back to Schofield Barracks at the the US Army Garrison in Hawaii, where he will undergo further treatment and rehab.

I'm sorry to hear about Joey's injuries. I didn't know him personally, as he probably went through CHS a few years after me, though my sister might. I hope everything goes well with his recovery. I've been there 3 times and I know the risk. God bless you all, God bless the troops, and God bless America.
