If you cant keep one from getting to dirty to fire, you need to give up guns altogether! I have ran over 1600 rounds before I cleaned one of mine with out getting one jam! and it was still out shooting my friends M14 match...

Love this gun! I have used a bunch of different weapons systems and these are my favorite! I've used the FAL, G3, AKs, and the M14/M1A (M1a is the Springfield armories M14 clone). and I have always gone back to the AR series of weapons. Need a compact weapon? M4 Carbine, a good all around accurate one? M-16. A snipers rifle u say? AR-10. they are very accurate (more so than any other I listed), and well maintained very reliable!

L1A1 = FN FAL, BRITISH military designation. A .308 rifle with an effective range of about 550 yards (when an AR-15 is effective out to 600). It's got more punch, but you'd need to modify it to beat an AR in accuracy. And they're 2 separate classes.
Of course, if I'm going for "fuck you AR15 accuracy", I'd do what most people would and use a bolt action, maybe a Rem. 700 in .300 Winchester Magnum (effective range 1,000+ yards). Or a .50 BMG Barret (shoot, mile and a half if you're good).

Frontsight is right...Train like you don't have 100 mags at home. Get a mag dump pouch, put it on your weak side and use the damn thing. Pick up every bit of kit you find along the way. Bravo Brother!

When i got my AR it was only 7 pounds but after the accessories it weighs 11 pounds with out the 100rnd beta mag but with the beta mag its 16 pounds LoL

ok seriously if i wanted to to defend my country or whatever i would get an L1A1 semi auto and out a 100 round drum a bipod on it. it would shit all over the ar15 at accuracy |
