The Wii control is what connects to the bluetooth receiver and you need the WiiWhiteboard program John made in which you can get from his website, this programs taps into the wii control's infrared camera which tracks infrared LED's. No I have not done this on a laptop but on my desktop, its the same thing.

Ya, all you need is a bluetooth adaptor or a computer that has a bluetooth reciever already in it. Sadly he forgets to mention this in the videos.
