This is an updated response as I messed up with the chords. The chords are Gm7-Am7-Bb during the verses. I treat the song as being in the key of Bb and go from there with the modes. I don't practice much anymore so I cheated and noted the modes on the paper with the words. I mostly used Gm Aeolian (has the Eb note) but also played in Bb Ionian, Cm Dorian, Dm Phrygian, and F7 Mixo. I used a D7#9 arppegio at the end of the chorus.

I think the playing is amazing. While the singer had a really good voice, Iunno if it fit the song all that much. But really, unlike a lot of people, I can't play and sing either so.. But... this is a really, really awesome cover! I'm glad to have heard it!

and I am simply expressing mine. As well as the the reason of creating this video. I'd say about half of the negative comments received thus far have been attacks and insults about how we 'are no where near as good as van' or that we are shitty musicians etc. The point is, this is just for fun.
It would be a big deal to you if you made a video of you playing guitar just for the sake of it, and then all of a sudden you've got ass holes ridiculing you with insults.
