West Virginia WOULD be heaven if it wasn't for all the logging and mining destroying the mountains and forests. I've lived here my whole life, and i wouldn't have it any other way .

I'm from Huntington (Westmoreland) & live in GA. now even though my heart is still in WV. This video is great! Thank you so much for making it & sharing it ~ so AWESOME! I love it, but cry each time I watch it. I'm sooo homesick, but at least w/ this I can see home! :D I wanna go HOME so bad! :( I added this to my MySpace. Thanks again ~ tremendous job! You captured so much & now I'm craving Jolly Pirate & Stewarts. Too bad Midway & Dwights 1st St. are gone, hmm?!

I've just been viewing videos of all the strip mining in what was beautiful WV. Our beloved mountains are being blasted away, our pristines rivers and creeks are muddy with sludge and the air seems poisonous with coal dust. I'm in despair after seeing what were beautiful forrested moutains now looking like a Mars landscape.
What can we do to stop this monstrosity?
