pretty interesting, I wonder if all ships will be able to enter atmosspheres. I am guessing ships smaller than a cruiser, those larger are simply too bulky.....

yeah so that female voice was so from Earth and beyond...and btw when it warped to the 2nd planet how did the terrian just pop up they need to make it alittle more acurate, btw u cant warp into planets cuz of the grav feild...its common theroy of warp

the eve art book goes into detail on this matter. shuttles are designed to be areodynamic and to fly into planets. all ships are not. This video is old and thus the idea of a frigate flying over a planet would only work if the planet had no astmosphere. Which there will be planets like that in which case bigger ships will not be able to get as close or they might get pulled in. that's about it. also tnaks and other things are coming to eve.

Will probably be the excuse to put more modules and skillbooks into the game ;-) But I don't think that this will be in Eve any time soon- or ever, really. This demo is just a ship flying about with a Terragen-generated background. As proofs of concept go, it lóóks impressive, but it really wasn't- it was more like "This is what we would like to include Soon (tm) " ;-) But priorities have changed a lot since then.
