Im in orchestra at school and we played a version of this song but it was easier than this...way easier. I still have most of it memorized. :)

It's 'proper' enough for me. All fiddle players do their own thing with this number.

If you want to hear proper, 'hot' fiddle playing then check out the YouTube clip of 'The Country Sisters' doing 'Orange Blossom' and marvel at their fiddle player, Linda, doing this tune some justice. She is just amazing.

I agree that Vassar is more great player in jazz and country style of music but in real
bluegrass there is no one like Kenny Baker.

You mean Jerusalem Ridge? I prefer Vassar's playing personally. There's a sleeze factor I find so appealing. I guess it's his fluidity but his playing for me is amazing.

Have you heard him playing Jerusalem Bridge...just crazy.
