Actually the lines "Your pain is no credential here, It's just a shadow of my wound" are lifted from Leonard Cohen's song "Avalanche". Justin Broadrick is a big Cohen fan, and he also named Godflesh's album "Songs of Love and Hate" after Cohen's 1970 album, and his label after the song "Avalanche"...
