So, how did God come to exist?
SideburnsCaptin (August 19, 2008 at 11:10 pm)
dude. the earth hasnt been around for 400 billion year, thats retarded. The universe has been around only 13 billion years. Maybe u should ask God for some brains

Im just talking from ear Im not good with school, but even then 5 billion compared to 200,000 is nothing my point is still proven.

er ... our solar system is only about 5 billion years old

How can ppl believe god created earth when the earth was here for 400 billion years before we came around. We've been here for like what 200,000 years? I don't know how we got here but it wasn't no mysterious "thing" since god isn't anything just a fictional character.

When you speak of reproduction(which you also believe naturally occurred), when a man and a woman mate, you are creating a child from an existing process simply by inserting certain required elements into a formula that you did not write;we give birth to children, we don't design them.

You also missed my point with my comparison of the human brain to a computer;the computer and the human brain are two products that perform many like tasks and functions, YET the processes that take place in the human brain are INFINITELY more complex than those of a computer with the most advanced microprocessors existing today. Now if we apply ALL of our technical knowledge and resources to building these machines, can you dare say that the brain in it's glory came from no intelligent plan?

The discussion of why Christ is the son of god is another topic altogether...although if you would like I can e-mail you if you want to talk about this :-) However, I will give you some sciptures to define my convictions: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."-John14:34-35 |
