When I said their worst album I meant that like compared to everything else theyve done its the worst. I mean Im a thrash die-hard but I catch hell cos my favorite metallica album is the black album XD

Stanger has soul, and i think it's fucking great on the live studio disc. pure anger, kick ass anger :)
SlayMetaller (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Totally. They fuckin pulled it off though. St.Anger was their worst though, I only liked like 4 songs off it. But Death Magnetic is a return to form.

You know, I haven't heard this album in a while and now that I jam to it again...I didn't give the hourseman the credit they deserve. this album is pretty clutch
telademise (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
they wanted to go back to the old days and do what they thought was right and i think they did a great jump on the new album. Metallica arnt sellouts they just wanted to experiment with load and reload. And with St anger they had to face their demons. i think those 3 albums had a few great songs but death magnetic is 100% great
sethshazam (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
calling load and reload sellout albums is just plain wrong. if they were being creative and did what felt good, then they didnt sell out. if anything, its death magnetic thats a sellout because the dropped their own artistic ambitions and gave in to whiny old school fans demands. way to kill a band, assholes! |
