I understand Morgantown, West Virginia. Since I am visiting here on business this week, I checked since I wanted to know too. The song paints a perfect depiction of the town. It is beautiful here and the people are friendly and life is unhurried. I live in LA and grew up in a town just like Morgantown, so when I hear Joni's sweet melody, my heart gets choked knowing I sacrificed the simple life to go chase my complicated dreams in big cities. I sure will return to some Morgantown some day

you have to be open for new and beautiful things, othertwise ya cant hear that kind of music. Its a pity that so much people are closed...they dont want to see the morining
