That "random guy" for the giants was LT. Carl Banks was awefully good too, but the best kickblocker in the entire game was Michael Carter of the 49ers. He was a couple steps closer to the holder on kicks so you could get in much quicker. Even Xtra points would get blocked.

Hell yeah, LT was a monster. I think I had something like 18 sacks in one game with him once. Also, he would block every single extra point attempt and/or field goal.

What about that random dude on the Giants' kick block team? You couldn't kick anything besides an extra point or else it would be blocked. That guy was the single best player in the game.

bo jackson could beat entire teams by himself in this game, unfortunately you cannot remove the entire offensive line and just let bo snap the ball to himself and then absolutely decimate the defenses.

Preach it! Defense ruled in Tecmo Bowl. We'd play games where the only hope would be to get a picked play interception and return it all the way for a touchdown because your computer guys bumped off any would be tackler. Taylor, Singletary and Ronnie Lott were great. Most UNDERRATED player on Tecmo Bowl? FREDD YOUNG for Seattle. He was fast as hell from the LB spot
