When has the US ever needed England to "back us up"? Have they stopped teaching history over there? Because England is the one that got its ass kicked in two wars with the US and had to have its ass saved by the US in 3 more. The US militarily has fought 2 wars to a draw and won every other one it's ever been in. England, on the other hand, was conquered by the flavor of the week Emperor for 1000 years until FRENCH nobles provided strong leadership and made them a country.

You won all your World Wars? Learn some history, even when they were supposed to be neutral the US was keeping you from getting owned. Then the US joins the war and what happens? The tables turn, German advances are stopped, they start to get pushed back, the US leads the invasion of France, takes Italy, beats back the Japanese without shit for help from Europe, and wins the war. You've had your fat asses pulled out of 4 wars by the US, and gotten beaten down by us in 2 more.
