this far outhooks the pearl. it doesnt snap like the pearl does and it breaks earlier. its better for heavy oil and carrydown. the ball itself will last longer coverstock wise. i would seriously reccomend this ball.

Right now I bowl with the Black Widow Pearl. I absolutely love the bar but it's getting pretty beat up and I just want to try another ball. How does this compare to the Pearl?
I know it's supposed to have more hook potential and hooks earlier. Which is fine because if it hooks too much I can just use wrist adjustments to correct it.
Thanks.

It should do alright i throw mine 17mph, it is my strongest ball

Unless you are bowling on Burnt lane conditions, this ball will probably not hook with high ball speed, and a lower rev rate.

i am considering on purchasing this ball. thing is my ball speed is higher than 16 mph. and i was thinking of having it drilled for an early roll since my ball speed is a bit high. would it be advisable to have it drilled that way? by the way, i am left handed and a tweener

there is countless things that could be why you see the difference.

hmm.. because my speed is around high 15-16 mph and it will move nothing like that..since i had it plugged and re-drilled does that have any effect on the reaction? I mean the ball is fairly new still and hardly beat up at all..
or do i just need to put more revs on it?

Chris is around 16-17mph |
