He sounds like a great politician, but he probably won't win because the Bureaucrats will fix the election. Either that or Bush will cancel it and declare absolute power.

how has the war humbled him? he makes jokes about bombing Iran.
SparklestheClown (September 6, 2008 at 12:52 am)
Well he shouldn't! If you heard his speech last night, you would have heard his real story. 5 and 1/2 years in a prison of war camp, tortured, and still stick your men, and come back and serve your (often ungrateful) nation for the rest of your life. He knows more than most about the perils of war. You have misread this man. The war humbled him, and made him love his country and put it first. He is one of the true heros and of all of the candidates knows more than all of the horror of war!!!

Honestly, McCain scares the shit out of me. Who knows what wars we'll get into under a McCain presidency. McCain is essentially a pro-war liberal. Then you have Obama the socialist.

I don't trust Bob Barr and would prefer to see Ron Paul on the Libertarian ticket, but that ain't gonna happen. Still, I'm voting for Bob Barr because I trust Obama and McCain even less.
SparklestheClown (September 5, 2008 at 11:59 am)
No one will be able to get in without having to work with all sides. It will be McCain or Obama. I pray for our national security and our very freedoms it is McCain. You should too!
SparklestheClown (September 5, 2008 at 11:58 am)
This is bull! He is certainly not the only candidate to stand for small government. Our national security is at stake, and McCain has not only served his nation and government and military with his blood, sweat, and tears, he has worked across party lines. He has proven experience, and has put his nation ahead.
Our nation in these really CRITICAL times cannot afford some of the monkeying around going on. I stand by McCain. I believe in him. He has worked for all sides.

I'm not too into this election, but I am very impressed with Barr. The only problem is, I just found out about him. He needs to get his message out and needs to get America's attention.
You have Obama's empty promises of hope and "inspirational" which is mere pandering to voters' emotions. I'm tired of seeing him and hearing him, a soft voice isn't going to "change" the country.
Mccain...don't even get me started.
Vote Barr and make people aware of him and that voting him isn't a "waste".

what percentage does someone need to get into the debates?
Im down with a Baldwin/Paul or Barr/Paul vote, that would win the election.
quietstorm403 (September 5, 2008 at 1:07 am)
Bob Barr would wipe the floor with Barack and Mccain in the debates, he is an intellectual powerhouse that is clear , concise and he knows the Constitution.
we all have to yell and scream and make our voices heard,
This is our Country, and we the people WANT BOB BARR IN THESE DEBATES ! |
