If he was an Aussie, he'd be singing " almost December the sun is bright ". We have Summer around Christmas down under. As for those drive in movies, they are nearly extinct nowdays. Back, then, they made for a good night out.

This a great song - thanks so much for posting this. It describes the wonderful summers of the 1950s. The summers were longer, warmer, and oh so innocent back then.
