Really?? Deniece Williams did the opposite ("Let's Hear It For The Boy") when she went from Gospel to Pop and so did Mariah Carey! Many go in and out and intertwine the two genres of music.

The 80's were the *BOMB* and so was the music from that era! You had to have lived thru it and been young to really appreciate it. You could really dance and just have innocent fun!
