I like the show for what it is and I like the books for what they are. It's stupid to complain that Serena's hair is a shade too dark or about Jenny's boobs. In comparing the show to the book, people don't see how great the show is.

yea i think the girl playing serena is very pretty - but not as completely beautful as she is meant to be. in the books serena is meant to be prettier than blair but in the show i think blair is prettier. and in the books serena is meant to have paler blonde hair which is straight, not wavy/curly.

personaly i think - books serena: slutter than in the show but also cooler and more interesting Blair : cool but bitchy and very self centered nate : always stoned but apparently hot chuck : pervert, realy horible person dan: weird show: serena: supposedly used to be slutty, but now kind of boring (stil quite cool tho) blair: same as book - but abit more likeable nate: apparently not always stoned chuck: abit mean and sleazy but cool dan: nice guy but not that interesting

ye it is kinda diferent from the books - but i prefer the show. some of the character look abit diferent from the books : ie -katie and isable are not asian -blair cuts her hair shoer in the 4th book -serena is meant to have striaght hair and more paler blonde - dan is meant to b realy skinny - jenny is brunet but yea - i prefer the show
