ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. The name of the company that produced the NiMH batteries used to be Ovionic Battery Systems, but Chevron and Texaco bought the company and changed the name to Cobasys and made it impossible for auto manufacturers to buy the batteries. So, what happens when the oil actually heats up? Yes, for a short burst, it'd work great... but oil takes friggin forever to cool down. What do they plan to do if they're going to run the rig for several hours? The thermal efficiency of the whole system would go to crap, and they'd be stuck waiting a couple hours to allow the whole thing to cool off enough to fire it back up. I'll just stick with air cooling for now... a lot less messy. Cool idea though, gotta give 'em props for that.
