At first, I didn't really like Lea Solonga as Eponine, and I still prefer Francis Ruffelle, but now I have a deep appreciation for the job Lea did. I think she brings an intriguing voice to Eponine. She gives her more of a stronger will, compared to Francis who makes Eponine sound despairing most of the time. My dream cast would actually be Colm-Terrence Mann-Michael Ball-Francis as Jean, Javert, Marius, and Eponine. And then for Cosette, i'd take the girl in this Les Mis. Ruthie too as Fantine.

This is the first time I've heard Lea Salonga's Eponine, and her voice is just fantastic. It's so good that even though I generally like a whiny sounding Eponine better than a more normal sounding one, she's gets top marks. That Enjolras was god awful though. Worst Enjolras I've ever heard.
