It goes like this, if you can get a colt, then get it, it's a great rifle. DPMS is bottom of the barrel type ar's, basically it's a no go. Rock River is definitely better than Bushmaster, hands down.

Damn, that is one pimpin rifle. So, what is the better brand to buy, Rock River, DPMS, Colt, or Bushmaster ? I'm lost, lol.......

Thanks and we're on the same page. The battery doesn't last very long but I have a place I get the "N" batteries for cheap. I elected to get the 511 because the housing was shorter. The 512 uses "AA" batteries but the housing is longer. It's all up to preference.

Thanks! The whole rifle in general isn't cheaply made at all. It surpasses Bushmaster by a long shot. The D.E.A. wouldn't be using it if it were cheap of cheaply made. Colt makes a great rifle, I can't say anything against Colt in the least. |
