I've everything Bill Frisell has ever done, so yes I've heard of Naked City and to be quite honest that isn't a good representation of Bill's style anyway. That is John Zorn's style.

Well you certainly are missing something. I have almost everything this man has ever recorded. You're simply missing the point I think. You expect somebody to be ripping licks all the time. Bill Frisell is never like that. He's all about the harmony and melody. Just because you're too dumb to "get it," doesn't mean that you can't appreciate what he does. Go listen to your Kenny G and Barry Manilow records.
