incomparable, different genres and while he might have been better than horowitz it is impossible to be better than artur rubinstein in my opinion

I totally relate. I still cry when I think of him gone, and Ray as well. It's like, i know it's selfish, but he was so great. I say better than Art and definitely surpassed Horowitz and Rubinstein.

No argument about that, the difference is the attack,Oscar admitted that he let go of the note in fast runs just as he hit the keybed,whereas Tatum fully hit the keybed, thus the perfectly rounded beautifull tone.

Of course he's brilliant, but I'd say the footage of Tatum on the "The Legendary Art Tatum (Tinys Excercise)-full" YouTube video is about as fluid as it gets. His tone is so even that he outshines even Peterson in my opinion.

How much more fluid can it get? Though Tatum was a major influence on Oscar, He surpassed Tatum harmonically, and improvazationally.
