its known that humans in the first few feet against a car will always win from a dead stop, as our rate of acceleration is naturally faster than a cars. He's just fast enough to keep up for a few extra yards. Notice the bugatti never got the chance to go beyond X yards before it had to go backwards. This was carefully thought out, but I'm not sure its the best ad.
