I'm an Nyu student and pretty ashamed of this video...

In any case, any law school is hella expensive.

jakey4500, Northwestern law's out-of-state tuition is approximately $42,942. NYU law's is $40,890. You do the math. However, University of Chicago law's is slightly less: $39,198.

Columbia and NYU are on par for one thing: price. I went to NYU. Would I do it again? Probably not. While it's an outstanding school (rated one of the top 20 in the WORLD), I think for the price, Northwestern would have been a better option for me. Or maybe U of Chicago? Either way, unless you want to stay in the city, go elsewhere and save some money! But...funny video!

If you're going to call something stupid, you might want to first learn how to spell "compare". ;)

Assuming you're talking about NYU law, yes, you have to be pretty damn smart to get in. The median GPA of entering college grads is 3.75 and the median LSAT score is 171, above the 90th percentile (approximately the same for Columbia). NYU and Columbia law are virtually interchangeable in law school rankings, and NYU has sometimes even been above Columbia. Both are immediately below the top 3 law schools (Harvard, Yale, Stanford).

As an NYU student, I can say that ... uh, well this is pretty fucking confusing. None of it is really true for anyone.

Wait...dont you have to be pretty damn smart to
get into NYU also?
NYU practically accepts students that may also qualify to get into Columbia.
