This is such bullshit, he's talking about expectations at Kentucky being outrageous because the Big Blue Nation expects to go to the Final Four every year, yet Dick is always raving about how at Duke or North Carolina, if they dont get to the Final Four, the season is considered a failure. So in Dick's eyes, UK fans are irrational for having such great expectations for our team, yet Duke and UNC fans are praised for harboring the same ones. FUCK YOU VITALE AND FUCK THE ACC!

I wouldnt say that hes a horrible coach. He did turn a terrible minnesota who had won like 9 games into an average team that won over 20 games with the same players. He just made bad choices like not recruiting certain players and bad lineups and not making the most of the players he had.

There is no difference between coaching Kentucky and any of the following: UCLA,UNC,IND,Kansas. These coaches are under a great deal of pressure to win but you better believe they get compensated well for doing their job. They know going into that position that it will be hard but very rewarding on many levels. Like competing for a national championship. Dick Vital lives his life vicariously through other coaches because he was not good enough to coach those schools mentioned above.

Actually billy D. was as. coach at UK with tubby smith under pitino. So he did think about it. We had a deal with him and john pelfry who is now at arkansas

I hate Vitale. "Kansas has no chance of beating UNC! There's no way those Jayhawks can stop the almighty Tyler Hansbrough! UNC is winning it all, baby!" Thank god Kansas proved his ass wrong. UNC beating Kansas? Turned out to be a huge joke. Hansbrough looked like shit. Maybe if he was smart he wouldn't pick Duke or UNC to win it all EVERY YEAR.

What ever in 1998 he had pitinos players thats why he go a national championship and a couple of sec championships. he suck at recruting he told lofton he was to small and slow to play in the sec. which he scored like 30 points a game against us and then he told corey brewer he was to small to play in the sec, he also score like 20 against us and has 2 national championships and 3 sec championships. And tubby has lost 25 games in his last two years at uk. He sucks at coaching
