Damn! Osirica is ON POINT!!! Van, we understand that Cosby is not perfect. We cannot ignore what he says because of his imperfections. If you don't like Cosby because of his past - then you don't like him - But Cosby is one of the few who are willing to put his neck out and call a spade a spade. Cosby's intention is to help our community improve - because in some ways - we have become our worst enemy.

Van - you want us to take our eye off the ball and focus on Bill Cosby. What Bill is saying is more important to black people than what you are saying. If Bill has to be called out on his mistakes, then so be it. Now, we move forward. I am not interested in silencing Bill's very important remarks simply because he makes mistakes. Adios Van... black people will not hit the pause button on this issue just because Bill did this or that 50 years ago or even 5 years ago.

Well, that is why he says "gangsta rap" and not hip hop. There is a difference. He is responding to a specific segment of hip hop, not hip hop on the whole.
