They've done some ballady stuff since their sony contract, but chk out their older material: they were and are THE American rhythm blues rock band-- no one can touch them, that's why so few bands can cover their songs: the vocals are too demanding: Steven had to fly out to Cali to teach Run DMC how to "rap" fast enough for their (slowed down) cover of "Walk This Way", and ended up being in that seminal video with DMC. Aerosmith are America's Rolling Stones.

I reckon its from their rockin' the joint tour, so around 2004. I think the dvd was available in Japan, but not sure.
