I saw the Woodstock film when I was stationed in Italy and the Santana segment was outstanding especially the drum solo.

i read an interview with santana once - he said that they all took acid or mescalin or something similiar hours before they were due to play. out of nowhere while they were peaking, they're told that they're due on stage. he said that that everytime he looked at the strings of his guitar they were snakes and he could see his fingers getting sliced open. ah, they don't make like they used to (sigh)... lol
